On this varied four-day tour you circle the breathtaking Karwendel Mountain Massif at the heart of Tirol. The scenic route for expert bikers in an excellent physical shape comprises forest and gravel trails, speedy downhill tracks and awe-inspiring alpine landscapes. One of the great classic routes and an absolute must for passionate mountain bike fans!
- Kufstein and its mighty Fortress make an ideal trailhead for this splendid four-day tour. After conquering the first ascent to the high-altitude plateau in the surroundings of Thiersee, you can indulge in the picture-book panorama.
- On side roads you reach unique Guffert Hütte at 1465 meters above sea level. After a short rest stop you continue on the rising gravel trail leading to Achensee Lake.
- An exhausting and strenuous uphill stage takes you to marvelous Plumsjoch Ridge at 1650 meters altitude. All efforts are rewarded with long downhill stretches to „Großer Ahornboden“ alpine maple area – another nature treasure along this wonderful route. Continue towards Karwendelhaus at 1765 meters above sea level, one of Karwendel's most important refuge huts, and follow the trail down to the village of Scharnitz.
- The cycleway along Inntal Valley is a real pleasure. Later you also cross the Rofan Steinberge Massif, pedaling past renowned Kaiserhaus and Thiersee Plateau with the loop bringing you back to Kufstein.
